Cruma control boosts farming but weakens PvP in Legacy
Owners of the new Cruma areas gain monster-farming bonuses and player-combat penalties. Read both effects announced for Lineage 2 Legacy’s 28 October update.

Controlling a Cruma area gives the clan hunting bonuses while worsening its PvP modifiers. The official Cruma Tower Depths description states that trade-off in the owner effect. Here are the announced 28 October rules and why capturing a point does not automatically improve your position against players.
This concerns Russian Lineage 2 Legacy on 4game. The patch notes were published on 26 October 2026, with installation announced for 28 October. The source check was on 27 October: this explains announced rules, not a zone already tested live. The URL contains classic, but the official knowledge base calls the version Legacy. Main, Essence, Special and other regions have separate conditions.
Two areas, both open to PvP
The depths comprise an Experimentation Zone and Temple of Life, reached by teleportation. Both are PvP areas where players can fight one another. All monsters are aggressive and attack first. Do not treat the location as a quiet, unattended farming spot.

Each area has a Clan Stronghold Device, the control object marked on the map. The rules say talking to it is sufficient to claim control. An occupied device can be destroyed with a forced Ctrl attack to contest the area. Here forced attack means attacking the selected object while holding Ctrl; talking to an unclaimed device and destroying an occupied one are separate actions. See names and markers in the full original map.
Stronger farming comes with a defence burden
After capture, every clan member receives the Cruma Ruler’s Authority effect within the controlled area only. It levels up with the duration of rule; it is local, not world-wide. Level one lists PvE damage bonus +4% and PvE damage taken −4%, but PvP damage bonus −10% and PvP damage taken +10%. PvE means fighting the environment, here monsters.
At level five, the listed values are PvE damage bonus +20%, PvE damage taken −20%, EXP and SP bonus +25%, Adena +10% and item-drop chance +100%. SP means skill points and Adena is the game currency. Simultaneously, PvP damage bonus is −50% and PvP damage taken +50%. These are effect fields, not the complete character-damage formula with every other buff. A drop-chance bonus does not guarantee a specific item.

The description has five levels but no minute-by-minute growth schedule. Do not plan defence around an invented timer. After installation, check the active effect and area boundary, weighing the ability to hold the device alongside farming income. Read every level-five field in the full Ruler row capture.
Other players receive a different effect
Members of other clans and clanless characters receive Cruma Conqueror’s Fighting Spirit, also strengthening over time. At level five it lists PvP damage bonus +50% and PvP damage taken −50%, but PvE damage bonus −25% and PvE damage taken +25%. Challengers have modifiers suited to fighting players; owners have farming modifiers.

This does not promise an easy victory over the owner clan. Do not add two effects into “100% advantage”: the official section supplies no complete interaction formula for all equipment and buffs. Check your effect’s name and level before fighting, not only another clan’s ownership icon. See the full Conqueror row capture.
Before teleporting on 28 October
The zone tables list level-92 monsters, with Colossus and Brute at 94. These are enemy levels, not a confirmed entry threshold. This section gives no exact teleport requirements, price or effect-level timing. Do not substitute another Lineage 2 version’s similarly named zone conditions.
Cruma Tower itself also has a route change: the lift will stop working. Floor travel will use NPCs titled Ivory Tower Mage, with Ian moved to the tower entrance. This concerns travel between floors, not the separate teleport route into the depths.
Your order: confirm installation in your Legacy version → choose an area → inspect ownership and your effect → decide between hunting and contesting control. Discuss defence with your clan before capture. Actual installation completion, entry prices and client behaviour were not tested here. Before release, use announced rules; afterwards compare official clarifications and your interface.
