100 monsters, no points: Elmore Codex in Lineage 2 Special

Kills must grant EXP, and the weekly cap must still have room. Find the 10,000 limit, its reset and why an unlocked reward still needs claiming.

Killing a hundred monsters is not enough: they must grant EXP, and you must have room under the weekly Codex cap. These are separate restrictions in the official first-season Elmore Codex guide. Here is how to locate both and understand why progress stopped.

These rules apply to Russian Lineage 2 Special servers on 4game. The season runs from 21 October 2026 at 14:00 MSK to 20 January 2027 at 10:00 MSK. The source sits in the Essence documentation section, but explicitly limits the event to Special. Do not apply its figures to ordinary Essence, Main, Legacy or other regions.

Open the two separate counters first

Elmore Codex is a seasonal reward track for game activities. Open it from the side menu: the window has season levels and a weekly points status row. Select the magnifying glass beside it to open Points Status, showing active bonuses and earning methods.

There are 30 levels of 1,000 points, or 30,000 for full season progress; points do not accumulate beyond it. The weekly counter instead shows how much you can still earn before reset. Progress, purchased Codex options and claimed rewards are account-wide: switching characters does not create another track. Enlarge the fields in the full original Codex window.

Which kills award 50 points

Without bonuses, Kill 100 monsters awards 50 points. Only monsters that give the character EXP count. If none is earned, for example because of a level difference, that kill does not advance the hundred. In a party, each member receiving EXP from a monster gets +1 to their own kill counter.

This action has no repetition limit, but the overall weekly cap remains. Repeatable does not mean unlimited points. Without bonuses, 1,000 ÷ 50 = 20 groups of 100, or 2,000 eligible monsters for one Codex level if this is your only method and the weekly cap permits it. This is rule-based arithmetic, not a hunting-speed measurement.

Other methods exist. Entering the Incredible Time Zone or Training Dungeon grants 100 points each without bonuses, immediately upon entry; killing inside is not required for those points. Each entry action is listed once daily, twice with an additional-entry ticket. Check the zones’ own access rules separately. Each daily quest awards 70 points: it must refresh daily, not merely be any completed task.

Cap reached: when points resume

The standard weekly cap is 10,000 points. Reaching it stops earning until the reset on Wednesday at 06:30 MSK; season progress is retained. At the source check on 26 October, the next reset was 28 October. This resets the allowance; it is not a promise that maintenance ends or servers become available then.

Points Status window: inactive bonuses, weekly cap 10,000 and 50 points per 100 monsters
Official Lineage II knowledge-base original. With bonuses inactive, this example shows 50 ×1 per 100 eligible monsters and a 10,000 cap.

Premium, a paid Codex option with separate rewards and an earning bonus, doubles points and raises the weekly cap to 20,000. Hot Week is a separate 6–20 January 2027 period when everyone receives that doubling without another purchase; it is not active in October. Premium during that period gives ×4 earning and a 30,000 cap, not 40,000. The official table lists each cap; the original Points Status window shows one example without active bonuses.

Check your active status before comparing earning speed with another player’s. Owning Plus is not stated to double points; that effect belongs to Premium. Normal earning and free rewards require no purchase. If progress stops, first compare kill EXP, weekly allowance and overall season cap: buying does not replace those checks.

Level unlocked: claim the reward separately

A reached level makes its reward available, but items are not delivered automatically. Select an available reward or Claim All Rewards and confirm collection. Free entries are available to everyone; paid ones require the relevant option. A red dot on the Codex button means an available reward, not a fresh weekly allowance.

If claiming fails, check inventory: collection is unavailable at 90% slot occupancy or 80% weight load and above. Do not postpone it until the next season: unclaimed rewards disappear when this event ends. Stopped earning and failure to collect an unlocked item need different checks.

Your order: Special and the correct season → EXP earned → weekly cap and active bonuses → season level → manual reward collection. Rules reread on 26 October 2026 in the official knowledge base; we did not test the client. If your situation still differs, save Points Status and the activity description for support rather than using another game version’s figures.
