Lords Mobile Decepticon Packs: why Deluxe usually gives one badge

Deluxe can award 1,000 badges, while the regular pack tops out at 40. Compare what is actually likely and why the largest prize is not enough to value an offer.

The most likely result from Decepticon Deluxe Pack is one Decepticon Badge, with an 80% probability. Yet the regular Decepticon Pack has twice the chance of awarding at least ten badges. There is no contradiction: Deluxe branding and the largest prize do not describe the whole distribution.

When this article was researched on October 4, 2026, the Lords Mobile Google Play description advertised Part 3 of Transformers and listed September 30 as the Android update date. The analysis below uses the two separate pack tables in IGG section 77 checked on October 4. If you know the September Raceway, distinguish Decepticon Badge, Bumblebee Badge and Speed Badge: they are different item names, so their calculations cannot be transferred between them.

What the two items actually contain

Section 77 writes Rate as a decimal fraction: the four entries for each pack sum to one. Multiply by 100 to express a percentage. Thus 0.8 means 80% and 0.001 means 0.1%. This matters because other sections on the same IGG page display percentage signs directly.

Decepticon Deluxe Pack: one badge at 80%; ten at 18%; 100 at 1.9%; 1,000 at 0.1%. All four entries award Decepticon Badge. None of the listed outcomes provides zero badges.

Decepticon Pack: ten badges at 28%; 20 at 11.2%; 40 at 0.8%. The remaining 60% awards three [Uncommon] Records. That outcome provides a different reward and zero Decepticon Badges.

The original IGG table below has not been generatively altered. Its English names let you compare the entries with your own item details. Open the table at full size.

Similar averages, different typical outcomes

Multiply each badge award by its probability and add the results. Deluxe gives 1 × 0.8 + 10 × 0.18 + 100 × 0.019 + 1,000 × 0.001 = 5.5 badges per opening on average.

For the regular pack: 10 × 0.28 + 20 × 0.112 + 40 × 0.008 + 0 × 0.6 = 5.36 badges. Records count as zero badges in this calculation; that does not mean the Records themselves have no value.

The averages are close: 5.5 versus 5.36. Neither item actually awards 5.5 or 5.36 badges. These are expected values across a very large series under an unchanged table, rather than promises for the next opening. Deluxe most often gives one badge; the regular pack most often gives Records.

The rare 1,000-badge prize contributes exactly one badge to Deluxe's expected value: 1,000 × 0.001 = 1. A large reward noticeably raises the average despite a probability of only one tenth of one percent. A plan to obtain 55 badges from ten Deluxe openings therefore does not follow from 5.5 × 10.

If your target is ten badges away

Consider a narrow example: you can open one of these items and need exactly ten more Decepticon Badges for a chosen exchange. We are calculating only the chance to fill that gap in one opening, excluding the cost of obtaining the pack.

Deluxe: awards of ten, 100 and 1,000 qualify, totalling 18% + 1.9% + 0.1% = 20%. Regular: ten, 20 and 40 qualify, totalling 28% + 11.2% + 0.8% = 40%. For this particular target, the regular pack has twice the chance.

Change the goal and the conclusion changes. If you need only one badge, every listed Deluxe outcome fills the gap, compared with 40% of regular-pack outcomes. If you need 100 at once, Deluxe has 2% in qualifying outcomes and the regular pack lists none. Asking which is better starts with how many you actually need.

Check before opening or exchanging

Verify the full item name, then calculate the missing currency using the chosen reward's details. A shop offer and a random item inside it may be different things: these rates apply to the two specific items in IGG's table.

When comparing offers, check how many such items each includes, the additional rewards and the acquisition terms. Similar badge averages of 5.5 and 5.36 do not establish equal offer value. The table can inform expectations for items already obtained; purchase value still requires the price and contents.

Do not confuse these badges with Dimension Keys. In the Part 3 announcement examined on October 4, IGG named keys as the resource for Transformers Lucky Spins. The Decepticon Pack table does not give the wheel's Optimus Prime skin probability, total cost or exchange deadline. Those belong to the relevant event screen.

The practical distinction is that Deluxe more reliably awards at least one badge, while the regular pack more often fills a small gap of two to ten badges in one opening. The 1,000-badge prize is a rare possible outcome, rather than a sound basis for a reward plan.
