MLBB Paquito: did your dash consume the Champ Stance enhancement?

Champ Stance enhances the next skill. Understand Paquito's three stacks, stacking shields and the ultimate's slow-to-airborne replacement using official cards.

Paquito's three stacks enhance the next skill: a dash can consume the enhancement you wanted for a shield. The official Champ Stance description explains that condition. Here is how to choose the next button, read the shield's “to 140%” value and distinguish the ultimate's normal slow from its enhanced airborne effect in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Three stacks enhance the next skill you use

Champ Stance is Paquito's passive. Each skill cast grants a stack, one step toward enhancement. After three stacks, his next skill is enhanced. Decide what you need before casting: close the distance with Jab, gain a shield with his first skill or change the ultimate's control effect. If the dash comes next, the dash gets the enhancement.

Original Russian-language MLBB website, 21 October 2026: three-stack condition and post-enhancement bonus. Sidebar statistics are not used here.

The card separately states that enhanced skills have no cooldown. After any enhanced skill, Paquito gains 60% movement speed for 1.2 seconds and damage reduction for that same brief period. Damage reduction reduces incoming damage; a shield is separate protection. This does not mean enhanced buttons are permanently available: Champ Stance still requires three stacks. Read the condition in the full original passive card.

A shield at 140% is 40% larger, not 140% larger

The first skill, Heavy Left Punch, deals damage in a chosen direction and grants a shield. The reviewed card gives the normal shield as 150 + 135% Total Physical Attack. In Champ Stance, its amount increases to 140% for 2.5 seconds. The next source sentence matters too: the normal and enhanced shields can stack.

Original first-skill card, 21 October 2026. The 140% wording and shield-stacking condition are preserved without redrawing.

140% of the normal amount means ×1.4, or a 40% increase. A hypothetical 100 becomes 140, not 240. That illustrates the percentage, not a shield measured in the client: the actual amount depends on Total Physical Attack. Check the wording in the full original first-skill card.

Stacking explains why the two first-skill casts should be considered separately: the normal and enhanced shields can coexist. It does not promise invulnerability or any desired protection duration. If your aim is an enhanced shield, plan the next button beforehand: an enhanced dash does not replace the enhanced first skill.

The ultimate's normal slow and enhanced airborne finish differ

Knockout Strike starts with an elbow strike that pushes enemies toward the destination. The normal version then lands a finishing strike, slows by 75% for 1 second and makes Paquito jump backward. A slow reduces movement speed; the initial push has already displaced the target. Those describe separate parts of the move.

Original ultimate card, 21 October 2026. Enhancement replaces the finishing strike with an uppercut; the control durations are not added together.

In Champ Stance, the finishing strike is replaced by an uppercut after the push. It knocks the enemy airborne for 0.5 seconds, briefly lifting and controlling the target. Do not add the normal one-second slow and enhanced half-second airborne effect into “1.5 seconds of the same control”: the card describes a replacement. Both versions appear in the full original ultimate card.

Choose the intended result: for the enhanced first-skill shield, make that skill next; for the ultimate's enhanced airborne finish, make the ultimate next. Pressing more buttons in sequence does not by itself explain what effect the target receives. Pick the result, then the sequence.

What to check before copying a video combo

Name the combo's aim first: engage with a dash, gain a shield or apply control. Find the third stack and identify the next skill. That makes it easier to notice an enhancement spent on an intermediate dash. Jab's description also says it stops on hitting a hero or monster, so dash distance and the target matter.

For your own check, open practice mode and compare the normal and enhanced first skill, then the normal and enhanced ultimate. Watch the enhancement indicator, shields and final control effect. This is a proposed checking sequence, not a report of a test performed here. A recording starting with three stacks does not show how the player obtained them.

Before copying a recording, compare its server and skill text with your client. The Natalia Camouflage, Smoke Bomb and charges guide explains why. Natalia stores ultimate activations; Paquito builds passive stance stacks here. Similar resource language does not make the heroes' conditions identical.

This guide uses the official website's Russian-language cards reviewed on 21 October 2026. They do not state their own patch date: the review date does not mean the hero changed that day. Matching every region and client version was not checked. Compare your in-game conditions before a match; this explains choosing an enhanced skill, not a best build or guaranteed combo.
