Ancient Beast in PUBG Mobile 4.7 beta: who gets Pegasus?
Opening the Ancient Beast's mouth lets everyone enter, but Aurora Pegasus at the pedestal requires a Hero's Medal. Here is how the Beta 3 routes differ.

Entering the Ancient Beast does not mean everyone gets Pegasus: the reward at the pedestal depends on a Hero's Medal. Our PUBG Mobile 4.7 Beta 2 glyph guide covers random skills and feathers. The third beta announcement adds a detailed route through the beast itself. Here is how it works.
This guide covers PUBG Mobile Global's themed mode and the official Beta 3 announcement dated 16 October 2026. It schedules the test for 15 October: the announcement date and test date differ. These are beta rules and may change before release. Do not treat them as instructions for a regular match in the current release, BGMI or regional clients.
Start at the head: tower, altar, then open mouth
The Ancient Beast is an enormous creature with parts spread across Erangel. At its head, the announcement says to attack it to expose the entangled Glyph Tower. Activate the altar inside the tower. It releases Glyph Chains, which seal the beast and force its mouth open.
Activating the altar awards a Hero's Medal, an important requirement for the next stage. Do not confuse it with Power Feathers, which affect the chance of a passive skill: the items and how to obtain them are described separately. The name Glyph Tower does not mean that every random-skill altar from the earlier test awards this medal.

The original screenshot's Ancient Beast Sealing Ground section links the medal to activating the altar; Inside the Ancient Beast links it to the pedestal reward. You can read the full-size original rules for the small print. This is the written announcement, not footage of a player receiving the medal.
Everyone can enter; the reward is different
Once the sealing is complete, all players can enter the same interior space through the open mouth. According to the beta description, players inside cannot attack one another. That rule applies to the interior: the announcement does not extend it to the approach to the head, the altar tower or all of Erangel.
Inside, interact with the reward pedestal. Players holding a Hero's Medal can obtain the Aurora Pegasus themed vehicle; other players receive normal rewards. The open mouth provides access, while the medal determines eligibility for the stated reward. Simply visiting the interior does not replace the medal requirement.
The text does not explain how the medal is distributed among teammates, whether claiming the vehicle consumes it or how often you can interact with the pedestal. Do not promise Pegasus to an entire squad after one altar activation. This guide explains the pedestal route; the announcement does not establish every possible way to obtain the vehicle.
The tower at the tail is a separate route
The tail follows a different rule. It wraps around a submerged tower; sound the horn to activate the tail and pull the tower to the surface. You can then enter and explore it. This is separate from the Hero's Medal altar at the head. If you are facing the submerged tower and tail, do not substitute altar activation for sounding the horn.

The official teaser frame shows the tower, draining water and the tail wrapped around it. It illustrates a separate part of the beast. Open the complete original frame. The vertical footage retains its original sidebars, without invented interface elements; it does not establish the reward conditions.
What to check before heading there
- Is the relevant themed test open? Check the Beta Calendar in the Event Center; timing and content can change.
- Which part are you approaching: the head with its tower and altar, or the tail with its submerged tower? They require different actions.
- Do you hold a Hero's Medal before using the pedestal? Entry and eligibility for the stated reward are separate conditions.
- Are you extending the interior's no-attacking rule to nearby ground? The announcement does not promise that wider protection.
Announcement rechecked on 21 October 2026 against the developer's published Beta 3 rules and the saved official teaser frame. The source gives no exact head coordinates, activation timers or list of normal rewards. We have not tested the game client and do not confirm hidden conditions or final release rules.
