RAID hybrid Fusion: 100 Fragments are not the finish
Epic Fragments can remain while the final Fusion expires. Separate summoning, Champion preparation and the Fusion deadline using original Plarium examples.
Published · Updated

In a hybrid Fusion, 100 Epic Fragments do not yet mean a Legendary Champion. Plarium’s official Fusion guide separates Fragment summons from the later Fusion: the Epics still need preparing and using before the final event ends.
On 22 October 2026, players asked about Orynyx’s start time and which timer to follow. This article explains general hybrid Fusion mechanics for planning. It does not establish the specific event’s start hour or full calendar.
Summon the Epic, then complete the final Fusion
A hybrid Fusion combines two actions: summoning Epics from their Fragments and fusing the prepared Epics into a Legendary. A straightforward Fragment Summon gives the named Champion directly. Reaching 100 alone does not establish which step of the chain you have reached.
The Champion Fragments guide says each Fragment belongs to a specific Champion. The 100 threshold applies to one summon, not the entire chain. Open Fragment Summon and read the name next to the counter.

Fragments remain, but the Fusion timer expires
Plarium’s FAQ says collected Fragments remain after an event and can summon their Champion later. A time-limited Fusion option, however, disappears from the Portal when its own timer expires. Stored Fragments do not extend that final step.
Record when each required Epic will be obtained and a separate final Fusion deadline. Leave time for preparation. “Everything is collected; I will summon later” is incomplete until you specify which Champion you mean and which still-active Fusion needs them.
A summoned Champion may still be ineligible
Fusion checks Rank, Level and Ascension, shown by purple stars. Read the specific slot’s requirements. The demonstration below requires Rank 4, Level 40 and Ascension 4, and the selected Champion does not qualify. Those figures belong to the example, not every Fusion.

If a slot rejects a Champion, check the conditions one at a time. Do not upgrade blindly because you already spent the Fragments. Identify the missing step and whether you have enough time and resources for it.
Four planning entries before spending
- Each required Epic’s name and its own Fragment counter.
- The source, threshold and remaining time for each missing reward.
- Each Champion’s readiness: summoned and meeting the slot’s requirements.
- The final Fusion timer and time reserved for preparation and confirmation.
If changing the final Champion with Tokens, first read the Fusion target-change conditions. Choosing another Legendary reward does not replace completing the chain.
The guides were reread on 22 October 2026. Find the current calendar on RAID’s Plarium Play page or in-game Fusion news, then compare the active timers. An old screenshot cannot establish that a particular stage is still open.
