Viking Rise KvK: why one Recast Blade gives 22,000 or 7,500 points
The same Recast Blade awards fewer points in the final stage. Compare two game screens and recalculate before carrying your spending plan into another stage.

One Recast Blade can earn 22,000 or 7,500 KvK preparation points depending on the stage. Our basic guide to crafting and consumable points explains how to read the tasks. Here we compare two stages of the same cycle and calculate what postponing consumption until the final stage changes.
One item, two scoring tables
KvK means Kingdom versus Kingdom. This comparison uses Kingdom 84’s KvK10 preparation in the Baldr’s Redemption season: Flóki918’s stage 4 Jewel Crafting and stage 5 A Mighty Army Rises videos, published on 7 and 8 October 2026. It describes the recorded cycle, not a global rule-change announcement.
Recast Blade and Enriching Stone are consumables used with jewels. In both videos, the relevant tasks begin with Consume 1. The same action makes a comparison possible; those rows do not award points for buying the items or keeping them in the bag.
During Jewel Crafting, consuming one Recast Blade awards 22,000 points, and one Enriching Stone awards 2,200. These are the first two rows in the original frame below. The remaining rows concern equipment crafting and are excluded from this calculation. Open the game frame at full size.

In the final stage, A Mighty Army Rises, the same actions award 7,500 and 750 points respectively. The items and unit of consumption match, but the rates differ. Yesterday’s table cannot automatically be used for today’s operation. Open the game frame at full size.

What changes for your stock
Suppose you planned to consume 10 Recast Blades for a useful upgrade. The first table gives 10 × 22,000 = 220,000 points; the second gives 10 × 7,500 = 75,000. The difference is 145,000 points, about 65.9% of the first result. For 100 Enriching Stones, the same totals are 220,000 and 75,000.
This is a difference in points for future consumption. It does not show previously earned points being removed, the items becoming worse or the upgrade outcome changing. Nor does it establish that spending everything in stage 4 is always best: that decision also needs a goal, rewards, operation cost and a useful upgrade.
If your chosen final-stage target is 220,000 points away, the old ten-blade calculation is insufficient. At 7,500 per item, you need 30 whole blades: 29 give 217,500, while 30 give 225,000. This illustrates rounding consumption upwards. It neither promises a reward at 220,000 points nor recommends buying the missing items.
How to check the stage before confirming consumption
Open the current KvK preparation first. Check the active stage name and timer against your goal. A video publication date does not mean every kingdom is currently at the same stage. Do not assume the general preparation timer is the deadline for a specific task without checking.
Find the exact consumption row. Check the item name, quantity after Consume and points on the right. Do not substitute equipment-crafting points for consumable points. Find each other resource’s own row: 22,000 to 7,500 is not a universal final-stage multiplier.
Recalculate only the operation you need. Multiply actual consumption by the current rate. To calculate a shortfall, divide the points gap by the rate and round whole items upwards. After the first planned operation, compare the score before and after. If it differs, stop and reread the rules.
If Jewel Crafting has already ended
Do not automatically spend every remaining item to compensate for the lower rate. Compare the useful improvement and achievable target your stock can provide now with what is sensible to keep. Rankings also depend on other players; a large score alone guarantees neither a place nor a reward.
In the next cycle, compare the available stage rules again before reserving resources for the final stage. In this example the rate changes by almost a factor of three. Check the rate before consumption, while you can still change the decision. Checked on 9 October 2026 against the two cited gameplay videos.
