Lords Mobile Legendary Jewel Chest: why 65% goes to Common
A gold chest border does not promise a gold Jewel. Compare IGG's Legendary and Epic drop tables and check the exact chest before opening.

A Legendary Jewel Chest in Lords Mobile most often awards a Common, or white-grade, reward: IGG's table lists 65% for Common and 1% for Legendary. The basic chest probability guide explains why names, probabilities and guarantees are different things. Here we compare two specific Jewel Chests so a gold border does not create unrealistic expectations.
A Legendary chest does not guarantee a Legendary Jewel
A Jewel is an item inlaid into equipment; a Jewel Chest provides a random Jewel reward. Do not confuse Jewels with Gems, the game currency. White, green, blue, purple and gold below refer to the grades in IGG's table, rather than the drawn crystal's own colour.
Check the chest's grade separately from its reward's grade. The archived game screen shows the name [Legendary] Jewel Chest. That identifies the container, but does not reveal which Jewel will drop after pressing Use. The screen comes from a 2023 video; the probabilities were checked separately on the official page, not calculated from this opening.

What IGG's table specifies
In Jewel Chest & Material Chest, find Jewels and the correct chest grade. The Russian and English versions showed matching values when checked on October 10, 2026:
Legendary Jewel Chest: Common 65%, Uncommon 14%, Rare 15%, Epic 5%, Legendary 1%.
Epic Jewel Chest: Common 0%, Uncommon 80%, Rare 15%, Epic 5%, Legendary 0%.
Each outcome lists a quantity of one. The note about ten Jewels refers to the possible types, each with equal rates; it does not promise ten stones from one chest. A specific Jewel type and its grade are also separate: gold does not necessarily mean the Jewel you need.

Epic has a higher minimum grade. Is it better value?
If your goal is to avoid Common Jewels, the difference is direct: Epic excludes them, while they are Legendary's most likely outcome. If you want a gold Jewel directly from opening, Epic lists zero and Legendary lists 1%. Opening many chests does not itself turn a low chance into a guaranteed reward.
There is a subtler comparison too. The chance of Rare or better is 21% for Legendary and 20% for Epic, calculated by adding 15 + 5 + 1 and 15 + 5 respectively. The difference is one percentage point. It does not establish which chest offers better value for your currency. That also requires current prices, quantities and the value of particular Jewels to your set.
Start with the objective. To exclude Common rewards, examine the minimum possible grade. For a direct gold drop, check that the outcome exists at all. When comparing offers, record each chest type's price and quantity rather than just its border colour. This table alone cannot identify a universally best purchase.
Check before opening
Read the full item name first: Jewel Chest, rather than Material Chest or a special event chest. Match the container's grade to the official table's heading. Then check the desired reward's row and the offer's own description separately. These percentages cannot be applied to a differently named chest. If the current in-game description differs, recheck the source.
After opening, do not rush to fuse everything into one gold Jewel. The Jewel fusion guide explains why you should count occupied slots and the whole set first. That is the next decision: the grade of a dropped reward and the benefit of fusing it require separate checks.
The original data check was October 10, 2026. IGG does not state when these rates were introduced on this page, and this article does not announce a new rate change.
