RAID Proving Grounds: the October 2026 pause and rewards

What Plarium announced about Coming Soon and rewards after the 5 October rotation. A dated guide to keys, teams and checking the result.

Plarium scheduled the second Champion Proving Grounds rotation’s result calculation for 5 October 2026 and announced a pause before the next rotation. Its 2 October Digest explained that Coming Soon on the map was expected and rewards would be calculated and issued as usual. This article records that announcement and preparation for a past deadline; it does not confirm reward delivery to a specific account. The source was rechecked on 6 October 2026.

Coming Soon did not mean rewards were cancelled

The map normally indicates result calculation. For this rotation, the announcement specified Coming Soon because of the break between rotations. The developers wanted to evaluate the mode’s launch; the cited Digest did not give a return date.

The announcement did not specify an exact calculation start time or a separate reward-delivery deadline. “5 October” was not a promise of a chest at a particular minute. The preparation checks below refer to the announced end of the second rotation. Do not treat that old date as a timer for a new launch.

The archived frame below locates Champion Proving Grounds on the dungeon map. It comes from an August HellHades article showing a Telerian Podcast frame. Its numbers, roster and timers describe that presentation, not a current rotation. Open the original frame at full size.

What to check before a rotation ends

1. Identify the specific reward you are short of. Open your star progress and ranking. The official mode description separates accumulated-star rewards from extra rewards for the top 15 players. Being far from the top does not make personal progress useless, but improving a score does not by itself prove that you will earn the next prize.

2. Check which attempt you will spend. Proving Keys are used to clear stages; Plarium’s description says a key is consumed when a stage is completed with at least one star. Rematch Keys let you revisit cleared stages for a better result. Three of each key are issued daily, and extra Rematch Keys can be bought with Gems. Repeating a battle and opening a new stage are different actions.

3. Compare the team with that rotation’s pools. Champions from the Primary and Secondary Pools provide score multipliers. Other Champions can be used without that bonus. Check your available roster and the reason a battle failed. Replacing essential support with a bonus Champion is pointless if the team stops clearing the stage. When planning for another available mode, first read how Saved Team groups and AI settings work: event dungeons share their own group.

When a rematch is useful and when to stop

Before retrying, record the goal, the change and the spending limit. For example: “Earn the next star; test an already built pool Champion; use an existing attempt first.” This is an editorial decision method, not a promise of a better result.

Repeating the same team without knowing what should change does not make extra attempts more useful as a deadline approaches. Compare the nearest achievable reward with other account goals. The historical Theimios example shows how to check a remaining Fusion route and Champion-preparation reserves: the same resources cannot be committed in full to both goals.

Do not build a Champion solely because you expect another rotation soon. The cited announcement did not establish its date. A clear role in available content is a better reason to invest than your own prediction of when a pause will end.

What you need to check the result

Save screenshots of your score, leaderboard position, reward bar and timer. Claim rewards already available if the interface offers them. This helps separate an earned result from an expected next prize and provides useful evidence for support.

After calculation began, Coming Soon alone was not evidence of a fault: Plarium had announced that label. If delivered rewards do not match the result, attach the saved screens to a support request. Any confirmed return date or exact times require a separate official announcement; the historical Digest does not supply them.
