Sun Wukong within 200 summons: the hero is not the Aspect

Two acquisition routes, different campaign requirements and three deadlines. What Golden Immortal changes, and which summons the event missions excluded.

The guarantee of Sun Wukong within 200 summons and acquiring his Golden Immortal Aspect are separate routes. The hero belonged to the Great Sage summon event; the Aspect was an event reward described in the official Great Sage Saga rules. This is an archive of the October 2026 conditions checked by the source article on October 10. The listed summon, stages, and reward-exchange windows have ended.

What the 200-summon guarantee covered

The developer guaranteed Sun Wukong within 200 summons in that specific event, regardless of other Legendary heroes obtained during those attempts. He could appear earlier. This was not a rule for every banner, nor a promise to receive the Aspect together with the hero.

A banner is a separate summon window with its own rules. Here, Sun Wukong and Greed had a ×20 featured chance in Spiritual Summoning while the base rarity probability remained unchanged. ×20 did not mean twenty times the chance of any Legendary. The announcement did not explain repeat guarantees or counter carry-over to other windows. The Rorkesh–Corven and Rygar–Carnelian examples show why ×20 is not 20% and why each window’s rules matter.

Participation required an account at least four days old and campaign N1-9 cleared. The window ran October 8–12, 2026 UTC−8, ending on October 13 at 10:59:59 MSK.

An Aspect enhances a skill; it does not grant the hero

An Aspect is a separate hero enhancement. Golden Immortal adds Splash DMG to Golden Cudgel Strike: up to five enemies around the target take 20% of the initial damage. That 20% describes the added effect, not a 20% rise in all Sun Wukong damage. The developer has also announced further development of owned Aspects, a separate step whose detailed rules remain to be established.

In the published Drake’s Chasm comparison, total damage differed by about 0.19% with and without the Aspect. The author observed no substantial single-target gain. The added effect is therefore more useful to examine where other enemies stand near the main target.

Official Russian test table: approximately 79.9% more damage in this Matrix comparison, not a guaranteed gain for another account.

The Matrix result rose by about 79.9% in that report. Even so, the author did not consider the hero’s current AoE output sufficient for a main-team place in that role. Complete gear stats, awakenings and result variance are absent from the cards. This is a comparison reference, not a forecast of the same gain for your account.

How the Aspect related to Jade

Great Sage Saga required the same account age but campaign N4-1 cleared, a later stage than the summon’s N1-9. Event stages and missions awarded Wyvern Jade and Dragon Jade, two reward-exchange currencies. The Aspect was among the rewards, and the announcement explicitly described it as obtainable for free through the event.

The rules read for the source article gave neither the Aspect’s price nor a complete free-Jade budget. During the event, the necessary check was the shop price against rewards available to your account. Obtainable for free did not mean automatically awarded to every account for logging in.

Challenge mode unlocked at 80% story progress. Its reward depended on the day’s highest damage, with only one difficulty selectable per day. The rules offered a hero test mode before making that choice.

A mission exception mattered: the special Spiritual Summoning and Divine Summoning variants described as Incredible in the Russian announcement did not count toward event missions. This is a translation of that source label; compare the full window name with your own client’s mission wording rather than assuming every summon counts.

Three separate deadlines

The published Sun Wukong summon deadline was October 12 at 23:59:59 UTC−8; Saga stages ended October 20 at 23:59:59 UTC−8; reward exchange ended October 21 at 23:59 UTC−8. In Moscow those were October 13 at 10:59:59, October 21 at 10:59:59, and October 22 at 10:59 respectively. Moscow is eleven hours ahead of the stated offset. The source gives the final time only to the minute.

The remaining-Jade-to-gold conversion period was listed as October 21 at 00:00 through November 30 at 23:59 UTC−8. Its beginning overlapped the final exchange day, but the post did not establish the exact currency-deduction moment. That ambiguity was a reason to exchange needed rewards early and read the shop timer, not assume Jade would remain available to the last minute.

What to check before spending

The decision during the announced period depended on what you already owned. Existing Sun Wukong owners needed to check the Aspect shop and acquisition conditions; players missing him also needed resources for the specific banner and separate Saga access. A story event’s longer duration did not extend the summon guarantee.

The Grey Blades summons ran alongside this period. When comparing the hero with the new faction, start with the role your team lacks and the Grey Blades roles and Sync conditions. One Aspect test’s improvement cannot decide which battle you need to solve.
