AION 2 Halloween skin for 250 coins: what the chest includes
What the 250-Pumpkin-Coin chest contains, when attendance rewards cover its cost and why the per-server limit matters more than your number of characters.

The October 14 AION 2 Global update offers a Halloween skin for 250 event coins. In the official update explanation, NC describes the chest, attendance rewards and separate shop offers. Here is what the chest includes and how the announced rewards add up.
What you receive for 250 coins
The item is Special Halloween Chest. Its contents list one Spooky Scary Skeleton (Skin: Breastplate) (Bound) and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals. The rules say opening the chest grants all listed contents.
A skin changes appearance. The reward name specifically says Breastplate, the chest-armour part. The stated reward is that skin, rather than any complete outfit from the Halloween lookbook. Bound identifies the item's binding status.
Where to exchange coins and which limit applies
The chest costs 250 Halloween Pumpkin Coin (Event). It requires level 10 and has a purchase limit of one per server. Do not treat that server-based limit as a separate purchase for every character on the same server.
The exchange is offered by Coin Merchant NPCs. Elyos locations are Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village in Verteron. Asmodian locations are Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly in Altgard. Start in the appropriate town for your faction and check the currency named in the chest's row.

When attendance rewards alone cover the chest
NC adds the Trick or Treat calendar to Attendance, the login-reward menu. Its table has 14 rewards: 35 coins on ordinary days and 100 on the seventh and fourteenth.
The first six claimed rewards give 6 × 35 = 210 coins. The seventh adds 100: 210 + 100 = 310. If unspent, that covers the 250-coin chest with 60 left. All 14 rewards total 12 × 35 + 2 × 100 = 620. This calculation follows the table; it does not mean everything is granted for one login.
Additional coins appear under Season Mission → Event. For example, three logins award 30 coins. Read the particular mission condition before completing it. The 310 calculation above counts attendance rewards only, excluding missions.
Halloween also has a separate dungeon-reward route: crafting a Blue Candy Key from 60 fragments. That recipe uses Candy Key Fragments. The guide explains their source, Blue Candy contents and the weekly server limit.

Which outfits are sold separately
The same announcement lists Monarch of Blood, Midnight Witch and Midnight Slasher as separate packages at $29.99 each. These are the announced Purple Store prices; other platforms may differ. Quna is the shop's in-game currency. Some individual helmets and accessories are listed for 300 Quna. Do not apply that figure to a full package: check the exact product and currency.
If you want the event skin without buying an outfit package, first reserve 250 Pumpkin Coins for the Special Halloween Chest. Before spending the remainder, compare level requirements and limits in the merchant's other rows. Having enough coins does not remove the chest's per-server limit.

Which deadline applies
The announced European-calendar event window runs from after October 14, 2026 maintenance until before November 4 maintenance. The US calendar uses October 13 and November 3. These boundaries depend on maintenance, rather than promising the exchange remains available until midnight on the final date.
Paid outfits have a different announced sales deadline: before November 25 maintenance in the European calendar. When saving coins for the chest, follow the event's own deadline. The later outfit-sales date does not extend it.
Extra Lower Abyss time has its own offer: one hour for 50,000 Kina with a seven-day stone expiry. Stone sales were announced until before October 28 maintenance in the European calendar. Check the relevant deadline before buying; this offer has its own schedule.
Planning a server move? Read the AION 2 character-transfer conditions first. The Halloween chest has a separate server-based limit. This patch does not explain its post-transfer accounting, so do not assume moving allows a second purchase.
