AION 2 Odyle Energy: 20 weekly purchases are a temporary limit
Wind Breeze Merchants' temporary per-character limit rose from four to 20. Why that is not unlimited energy, and why Halloween's separate four-item limit still matters.

AION 2 Global's weekly Odyle Energy (Bound) purchase limit at Wind Breeze Merchants increased from four to 20 per character. In the official shop-change explanation dated October 14 in the European calendar, NC ties the change to the server-transfer period. Treat it as temporary when planning your stock.
What 20 instead of four means
Open Shop → Wind Breeze Merchants → Special and find Odyle Energy (Bound). The change concerns that item sale. Twenty is a weekly per-character purchase ceiling, rather than a promise of 20 free items.
NC simultaneously announced removal of the previous 16-item weekly per-server limit for this sale. Keep those boundaries distinct: the server ceiling is removed and the character allowance increased. Removing one restriction does not make another character's purchases unlimited.

Open the original shop rules at full size. This is NC's document, rather than a game-client screen.
Count items separately from energy-bar points
Odyle Energy (Bound) is the purchased item's name. Bound identifies its binding status. Item quantity and energy points restored on use are different measures. The patch's purchase-limit line does not say how much one item restores.
Record three values separately: items already in stock, purchases still allowed by the current row and items needed for your task. Check access conditions and price before confirming. A limit of 20 establishes neither availability without Membership nor a particular energy-restoration rate.
Why the Halloween merchant still lists four
The seasonal exchange has its own rule. NC's October 15 Trick or Treat description lists one Odyle Energy (Bound) for 10 Halloween Pumpkin Coin (Event). It requires level 45 and allows four per week per server. The Wind Breeze Merchants increase does not replace that separate row.

Open the original seasonal-exchange table at full size. The relevant entry is the second row after the headings; all its conditions are also written above.
A separate Blue Candy reward offers four Odyle Energy items with a Blue Candy Key crafted from 60 fragments. The key, seasonal exchange and ordinary purchase are different acquisition routes. Do not apply one route's limit to the others.
How long to rely on the increase
The shop-change wording says during the server-transfer period. Halloween's end date does not automatically determine when the 20-item increase ends. Reread newer shop notices before planning another week; the October 14 announcement does not promise a permanent increase.
If you are stocking up before a move, separately check the character-transfer conditions. Early Access and Launch have different windows. Buying energy does not confer transfer eligibility or establish that a move resets the counter.
Preparing consumables for the new hard expeditions? First read the Krao Cave and Draupnir Hard conditions: 2600 and three revives. Shop purchase limits and dungeon requirements are separate checks; consumable stock does not remove mode restrictions.
Before buying, compare the exact item, shop section, remaining counter and allowance unit: character or server. If the number differs, save the full screen and check a newer Global announcement. This patch line does not explain weekly reset time, restoration amount or repeat purchases after transfer.
