Bought it, can't resell it: Doomsday's Trading Attempts limit

Check Trading Attempts before buying Squad Equipment. Two original item cards explain the transaction limit and why later resale cannot be assumed to recover your Gold.

Our Doomsday auction guide explains why rarity does not guarantee a sale. Before buying, check another entry: Trading Attempts, the item's remaining transaction count. If your plan is to use the equipment and sell it later, read that limit before the price.

What Trading Attempts: 1 means

In Brian (D4RK)'s guide published on 3 October 2026, level +20 Laser Night Vision Goggles show Trading Attempts: 1 below their stats. At 12:38, the creator draws attention to the entry and warns that buying this item leaves no further resale. The last available transaction is your purchase of this listing, not a spare sale afterward.

This describes the case shown in the video, not a test transaction in our own client. Check the remaining count and current in-game rules before confirming a purchase. Until resale is confirmed, do not include it in a plan to recover your Gold.

The original below shows both useful ranged stats and the remaining trade count. Good properties do not cancel a trading restriction. The 7,999 Gold price belongs to the recorded listing; it is neither a current benchmark nor proof of a completed sale at that price. Open the original at full size.

Buying for yourself versus buying to resell

For your own equipment set, ask whether the item is useful at that price even if you keep it. Compare the properties your squad needs with the item you currently wear. A limit of one does not automatically make equipment bad; it changes your plan after buying.

A resale plan needs a stricter check. At 13:00 in the same video, a level +20 Life Monitoring Vest shows Trading Attempts: 2. The creator considers it for upgrading and later selling. Two does not promise a buyer, a profitable price or recovery of the upgrade materials. It answers a different question: how many transactions remain on that particular listing.

The second original shows a vest with three infantry defense entries and a recorded price of 2,200 Gold. This is another item, not the goggles after purchase. We are comparing the counters and purchase goals; the two frames do not establish that the vest is a better deal. Open the original at full size.

Three checks before buying

1. Name the purpose. Wearing an item, using it to improve another item and selling it later are different goals. If you only want a property for reforging, first check the upgrade interface to see what transfers and what is consumed. Do not value that consumable as a finished combat set.

2. Open the full item card. Read the troop type, basic and special stats, then Trading Attempts. The overall Might figure cannot replace those entries. Our equipment Might recalculation guide explains why equipment Might and its bonuses are not the same measure.

3. Check the plan without future resale proceeds. If the purchase makes sense only if you can resell, stop and clarify the limit. Planned upgrades add costs beyond the item price. Other players' asking prices do not prove you will recover those expenses. A similar item being called a bargain in a video is not enough reason to buy.

Do not confuse the counter with transaction history

Trading Log records transactions. Trading Attempts is the limit on a particular item. At 13:15, the vest purchase still says Reviewing… . That screen does not prove completed delivery, let alone a later resale. Wait for the result shown by the game itself.

Squad Equipment is the equipment discussed here; Gold is the currency in the auction price. This analysis is not about account trading or hero Armament. Before your next purchase, add one question to the usual stat comparison: what will I be able to do with this item after the transaction?
