19,000 damage from Eren in Doomsday? Check the targets
One comparison adds Eren's factors to 19,000. The initial target and neighboring squads change what that sum means. Here is what to read before upgrading.

Our hero level and Battle skills guide explains why you should open the specific skill before upgrading. For Eren in Doomsday: Last Survivors, take another step: read which target receives the damage. A neat 19,000 versus 16,500 comparison can look like a single-target advantage even when the description does not support combining those figures.
Where 19,000 comes from
The example is T O K Y O's English-language video of 3 October 2026 about burst and damage over time. From 7:35, the creator compares Maxwell and Eren: 16,500 for Maxwell, versus 11,000 plus four additions of 2,000 for Eren. The arithmetic is correct: 11,000 + 4 × 2,000 = 19,000. A correct sum is not automatically a valid comparison.
At 4:56 in the same recording, Eren's post-Awakening description is open. The initial 11,000 Damage Factor hits the current target. A separate condition follows: outside rallies and garrisons, the hero enters high mobility for four seconds. During that state, basic attacks deal an additional 2,000 Damage Factor to up to three other nearby enemy squads. Open the original tooltip frame.

Other is the crucial word. The initial hit's current target and the extra effect's recipients are different battle participants. The tooltip also ties the additional damage to basic attacks. Four seconds of duration alone do not establish four guaranteed triggers.
Two fights where one sum misleads
There is only one enemy squad. Under the displayed description, the extra effect has no other nearby targets. You cannot assign all four additions to the initial opponent. This is not Eren's complete damage calculation: basic attacks, other skills and other effects have not been totaled here.
Several enemy squads stand near the main target. That creates the situation described by the extra effect. Still, record the parts separately: which squad took the first hit, which received the extra attacks and how many triggers actually occurred. Total damage across a group and damage to one target answer different questions.
Why Awakening and mode matter
The English frame explicitly describes the post-Awakening state. Its figures cannot automatically be assigned to an unawakened Eren. A rally is a joint attack by multiple players; a garrison is a squad defending an object. The displayed description excludes the high-mobility state from those roles. It does not establish that all the hero's skills stop working or that he has no use in those fights.
The four-second duration and 2,000 factor did not originate in the October video. An in-game letter shown in VerChannel's stream of 16 January 2026 describes an Awakened skill improvement: duration from three to four seconds, and additional attack factor from 1,800 to 2,000. The letter also ties the effect to basic attacks and limits its battle mode. Open the original letter frame.

This is a January document, not a new October patch. The exact client versions in the selected frames are unknown. Before spending fragments, check the full description in your own client: the hero's state, effect recipient, mode and trigger.
What to check before investing in the hero
Start with your goal: damage to one target, or pressure on several nearby squads? Compare heroes at the same available development level and in the intended role. Damage Factor is a parameter in a skill's calculation, not a count of killed or wounded troops. A comparable fight and report are needed to assess results; adding factors is not enough.
Record target, mode, skill state and trigger. If any of them disappears when you put the skill in a table, return to the tooltip. Our beast garrison multiplier analysis examines a similar mistake involving a role and a maximum-preview figure.
These numbers cannot establish either Eren or Maxwell as the winner for every battle. The practical conclusion is that this 19,000 sum does not prove Eren's damage against one opponent. Identify where each effect goes before deciding whether the hero fits your squad.
