Doomsday's new ranged heroes: three checks before spending
App Store marked the new ranged pair Now Available. What that confirms, what it leaves open, and three checks before spending on Sebastian or Valeria Moretti.

App Store marked Doomsday's new ranged pair Now Available. If you were waiting for Sebastian and Valeria Moretti on 19 October, do not go straight from the calendar to spending: check recruitment and the relevant skill in your region first. What changed after the delay announcement
On 19 October 2026, the official New Ranged Heroes are here! App Store event card showed Now Available. That is a store availability message, rather than only an earlier plan. The card gives no exact launch hour, region list or recruitment conditions. We did not test recruitment in the game client or extend the status to every server and platform.

The version 1.61.0 history dated 28 September names Lord of Strings — Sebastian and Ashen Saintess — Valeria Moretti. It moves their release from 5 to 19 October UTC, or Coordinated Universal Time. The English names help identify them if your client's localization differs.
The earlier delay was attributed to an additional All-Troop Hero Theme phase in the existing cycle. IGG also said future releases would slow down. No permanent new interval was specified. The October dates are 14 days apart, but that does not set the next heroes' schedule. The historical calendar below explains the delay; availability belongs to the separate event card.

Three checks before using your stock
First: recruitment in your region. Open the hero and the current offer or event. Is recruitment itself available, what does it require, and when does it end? Viewing a portrait and maximum skills does not mean you have obtained the hero. Save the requirements and your own stock before the next action.
Second: the effect in your battle mode. Our Sebastian ATK analysis shows an attack bonus conditioned on rallies, or joint squad attacks. Valeria's five-ally heal has a different condition on the reviewed card: outside rallies and garrisons, the latter being an object's defense. These are examples from 10 October footage; compare the current description in your own client.
Third: a specific development step. Record the relevant skill's current level, next upgrade and required Hero Fragments, the items used for applicable recruitment or development steps. Do not replace a current effect with the final preview value. Choose one squad task the investment should improve; new hero is not a task by itself.
An item's deadline does not move with the hero
Read the descriptions of saved tokens, fragments and exchanges before spending. Record each item's or offer's deadline separately. A delayed hero release does not confirm that an earlier shop or its currency has been extended. A Now Available card does not promise to carry balances over from another event either.
Non-expiring stock and an item you must use sooner require different decisions. Do not assume every universal fragment applies to the new pair because of its name. Eligibility must appear in its description or recruitment rules. Without confirmation, do not count it toward an upgrade you consider ready.
Do not buy on a promised selection alone
In September's version 1.61.0 notes, IGG announced additions to the Island Raid, Archipelago Raid and Extreme Showdown season shops: OC Chips, Legendary Chips and Superb Armaments. No prices or quantities are given there. This is historical update context, not today's shop inventory. Compare a purchase using the actual selection and prices in your cycle.
Radar Station and VIP shops had a separate date: the same notes assigned their changes to the 21 September UTC weekly refresh. Do not combine that with 19 October or the earlier general maintenance window. One change's date does not prove that every other announcement item took effect that day.
Confirm recruitment first, then the needed combat effect, then compatible resources and their deadlines. If a hero is available but the important skill works in another mode, the release date does not resolve that mismatch. Waiting until 19 October is not a substitute for checking the action you can now take, nor a reason to spend everything saved.
