Peggy in Doomsday: a small stamina saving that adds up over 20 hunts
Peggy can save up to five stamina per qualifying attack. Read the skill screen, calculate a series of hunts and separate stamina savings from the debate over the best hero.

Peggy in Doomsday: Last Survivors is worth assessing through the stamina you spend on hunting. Her passive skill reduces the cost of attacking Zombies and Hiveminds by 1 to 5 stamina, depending on the skill level. The difference is small on one attack. Over twenty qualifying attacks, the maximum reduction adds up to 100 stamina.
That does not make Peggy the best hero for every account. It does make her worth checking if your hunts end because you have run out of stamina.
What the skill screen actually says
The Peggy guide on Gamerch includes an original game screen in Japanese. Her fourth skill lists a cost-reduction scale of 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5. Five is the value at the final skill level, rather than a bonus every Peggy automatically has.
These are stamina points, not percentages. The English Serenity skill description gives the same values and targets: Zombies and Hiveminds. The original screen is preserved below; the key conditions are explained in the article.
Open the full-size skill screen

The same screen separately mentions resource packs for defeating Zombies. The cost reduction and extra loot have differently worded conditions: a promise of packs from Zombies should not automatically be extended to Hiveminds.
Calculate a series of attacks
Worked example: you plan twenty equally qualifying attacks, with all other conditions unchanged. At a reduction of 5, the series costs 20 × 5 = 100 less stamina than it would without this effect. If your skill only saves 2, the result is 20 × 2 = 40.
This example assumes no particular base attack cost. We therefore cannot turn the 100 stamina saved into a fixed number of ‘free’ hunts. That depends on the cost of your next target. Check it in your own client first.
Twenty is simply a convenient number for the calculation, rather than a required daily quota. For your own series, multiply the number of qualifying attacks by the reduction your skill actually shows. That turns a small figure into a useful stamina budget.
Why players disagree about Peggy
In a discussion of heroes every Shelter should have, some players immediately recommend Peggy. Another prefers Martin for experience and health recovery. These are player opinions comparing different benefits, rather than a controlled test under identical conditions.
Your choice depends on what limits your hunting. If stamina runs out before your available playtime does, reducing the cost deserves attention. If you have stamina to spare but little time to play, savings alone cannot settle the choice: compare the targets and number of hunts you can actually finish.
One check before a long hunting session
Open the relevant skill description on your own Peggy and check its current level. Then compare the displayed cost of attacking the same target with your chosen lineups. Keep the other conditions equal, or you may attribute the difference to the wrong effect. If the cost screen does not confirm the expected saving, investigate the conditions before including the discount in your plan.
Group hunts also depend on another resource: a time that suits the team. If you have stamina but cannot join the group, the alliance activity and schedule checklist can help.
Peggy's value in this situation is straightforward to measure: how many qualifying attacks you will complete and how much stamina they will cost. Start the comparison with those two numbers.
