Orynyx in RAID: why two rewards of 25 Fragments fall short
Orynyx’s calendar offers 475 Fragments against 400 required. Calculate the margin, three summoning events and possible skips without assuming a fixed Shard cost.

Taking 25 Fragments from each of two summoning events is not enough if you skip the third. Our hybrid Fusion guide explains how Epic Champion Fragments lead to a Legendary Champion. Here we calculate Orynyx’s route using the official 22 October calendar: which rewards can you cross out while keeping the plan viable?
475 available, 400 required: a margin of 75
Orynyx requires four Primus Atalact copies. The Fragment route takes 100 per copy, or 400 in total. These are named Epic Champion Fragments, not Shards used at the Portal and not Orynyx Fragments. The calculation assumes all four copies come from this route; an existing eligible copy changes the starting point.
Plarium announced 475 available Fragments: 250 from Events and 225 from Tournaments. You can therefore miss no more than 75: 475 − 400 = 75. That margin covers the entire calendar. It does not mean you can skip 75 from farming and then skip summoning as well.

Three summoning events must supply at least 75 Fragments
Mark three rows on the calendar. Two Summon Rush Events and the Champion Chase Tournament offer up to 150 Fragments combined:
- Summon Rush I: 23–26 October, up to 50 Fragments.
- Summon Rush II: 27–29 October, up to 50 Fragments.
- Champion Chase: 30 October–2 November, up to 50 Fragments.
Each of those rows shows two separate rewards of 25 in the original calendar. All other rows provide 475 − 150 = 325 Fragments. If you collect every one of them, the three summoning events must supply at least 400 − 325 = 75. Any missing reward from those 325 increases what you still need.

Why 25 + 25 leaves you at just 375
25 from the first Summon Rush + 25 from Champion Chase, with the second Summon Rush skipped: 325 + 25 + 25 = 375. You are 25 short, even though you reached the first reward in both chosen events.
50 from one Summon Rush + 25 from Champion Chase: 325 + 50 + 25 = 400. You can skip the other Summon Rush if you actually collect all the remaining 325. The reverse option, 25 from one Summon Rush and 50 from Champion Chase, also reaches 400.
50 from each Summon Rush, skipping Champion Chase: 325 + 50 + 50 = 425. In this model you can miss one more 25-Fragment reward elsewhere and finish at exactly 400. Skipping both Summon Rush events and taking only 50 from Champion Chase does not work: that gives 375.
This is reward arithmetic, not a ranking of the cheapest routes. 25 Fragments are not 25 event points. A reward milestone requires a particular point total; check its cost on your own screen before opening Shards. The calendar alone cannot tell you how many Sacred, Void or other Shards your account will need.
What to write down before opening the first Shard
- Your chosen rewards from the three summoning rows: at least 75 combined if you collect the other 325.
- Every missed or unavailable reward: subtract these from 325, then recalculate the amount needed to reach 400.
- Your current points, the cost of the next required milestone and your personal spending limit.
- The timers of your chosen stages and time to prepare four Epic Champions for the final Fusion.
The Fusion was announced for 22 October–6 November. Individual events end earlier, however. Plarium asks players to check the exact local time in the Events or Tournaments window: “26 October” does not promise availability until midnight. The original calendar also warns that the schedule may change.
If you are also choosing a Progressive Chance target, first read why a ×30 multiplier does not guarantee your Champion. For the Fusion plan, count collected Fragments and achievable milestones separately from hopes of a lucky summon. Save your calculation before spending: it should show both what you skip and which rewards bring you to 400.
