RAID Prism Crystals: why your reserves can summon automatically
Which leftover Prism Crystals carry over, why their summons do not score in Summon Rush and what to check before the event timer ends.

RAID Prism Crystals cannot unconditionally be saved for a more convenient event: a balance sufficient for a summon is used automatically. Our guide to ×30 and a target Champion’s chance separates Rarity odds from the chance of a particular Champion. Here, check another distinction before spending: which resource are you using, and what happens to it after the timer?
The original question came from discussions about delaying summons for points. In a 1 October thread, players suggested timing a Champion’s acquisition with Champion Chase; one comment proposed delaying prisms by leaving the game. Player experience is not a developer promise. This article uses Plarium’s support rules checked on 5 October 2026 and separates them from those workarounds.
First find the correct tab
Summon Pool is an event with its own eligible Champion list. Prism Crystals are the resource used to summon from that pool. The official guide says Champions of the same Rarity within the pool have equal chances. This differs from choosing boosted targets in Progressive Chance.
The first screen has Summon Pool selected: the pool appears at left, the summon cost at the bottom and the event timer above. It is a Plarium guide example. Its 80-crystal cost, 10%/90% odds and Champion list are not today’s event conditions. The developer’s 25 August 2023 Digest separately explains that costs and ways to obtain crystals can vary between pools.

What remains when the event ends
Plarium’s guide describes two cases. If the remaining crystals are sufficient for a summon, they are used automatically after the event ends and the Champion goes to your Inbox. If there are not enough crystals, the remainder can be used in future Summon Pool Events. “I did not press Summon” therefore does not mean “I saved the whole balance.” Check the delivered Champion promptly: the Inbox has storage deadlines and a capacity limit.
Record your crystal balance, the cost of one summon and the event’s finish time together. Do not copy the cost from an old screenshot. Then decide whether this particular pool suits your goal. Waiting does not let you choose a future pool for a balance already sufficient to summon.
Why you have a Champion but no Summon Rush points
Prism Crystals are not Shards for Summon Rush or Shard-opening quests. Champions obtained through them do count for Champion Chase, Clan vs. Clan (CvC) Tournaments and Clan Quests whose condition is obtaining a Champion. Champion Chase scores Champion acquisition; Summon Rush is a separate event scoring eligible Shards opened. Similar wording does not make their rules identical.
Before acting, read the target Tournament’s rules and record what earns points. For a Fusion reward, check the whole route: our historical Theimios planning example shows why one available resource is not enough. Its calendar belongs to that specific Fusion; another event requires a fresh check.
Do not confuse prisms with the ×30 bar
The second official screen has Ancient Shard and Shard Summon selected. Progressive Chance and a separate 55/100 counter appear on the right. Neither is a Prism Crystal balance or a crystal carry-over timer. Here, target selection and multiplier progress belong to a specific Shard type, and the multiplier resets for a new Progressive Chance Event. Summon Pool has its own conditions.

Before a session, name the tab, resource and intended result. “Summon Pool, crystals, a Champion for Champion Chase points” is a clear goal. “It is a summon, so it counts everywhere” skips a condition. A screenshot taken before acting helps establish which mode was actually open.
Can leaving the game postpone a summon?
In an August forum discussion, one player complained that a saved summon went to the Inbox; in an October thread, another described a successful delay. These are individual accounts with different conditions. The official guide does not promise carry-over by logging out or avoiding a tab. Do not base a mandatory Tournament threshold on that workaround. If the summon has happened, check the Inbox and actual points first. Establish what is missing before buying more attempts.
